EE&AE History

The EE&AE conference was created by a group of researchers of the University of Ruse Angel Kanchev, with the aim to challenge several fundamental world problems – world hunger and energy poverty. The solutions to these problems are related to energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, precision agriculture, environmental protection and appropriate educational policies.

The first International Conference on Energy Efficiency and Agricultural Engineering was organized back in 2002, with the support of International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering (CIGR). It has attracted the attention of more than 120 authors from 23 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa. Since then, a total of six conferences were held, which maintained the initial interest in the topics.
